Too many to put down but here are two of my "favorite"
"If you couldn't pay the bill you should have stayed home and died instead"
Then one my all time favorites. Collector calls young daughter at home "Is your mom okay? Daughter says why? Collector "I heard she was hurt, how can I reach her?" Daughter gives contact information than frantic calls mom at work scared and worried that mom was hurt. This was done so collector could get moms employer information.

Is it okay to tell other community members that a local business has filed a lawsuit against you for your property -- or will it jeopardize your strength in the law suit?

There is nothing wrong with telling anyone you want what someone is doing to you. It won't jeopardize or strengthen the law suit either way. But when you say a lawsuit "for your property," that leads to a lot of more questions. Property can be anything from money to land and about anything else. You always have the right to defend yourself if you are sued.

collection agency using spoofed phone numbers to call and hang up, they used our own number so it looked like the number calling was us. Of course its a spoofed number, they never say anything or leave a message but I get between 30 to 50 calls a week, all of them are spoofed numbers, or some say out of area, or private, even if we activate anon call rejection, they have a way around that. I did receive one yesterday that used a spoofed ID of blue cross blue shield, seeking social security number, name, using a pre recorded message, (I hung up called BCBS and they said no they had not called and there was no reason for anyone to call me)
I am currently seeking a legal method of obtaining proof that I am being harassed by a collection agency where I do not owe the debt that they claim they are collecting.
I have looked at using a trap line, but most of the time it is not available to land lines, (there are plenty for cell phones)
